Being able to find a dupe for a high end product seems to be a mission lately for a lot of makeup junkies. If you don't know what a dupe is, it is an affordable alternative product to a more expensive, high end product. So, imagine my surprise, when I stumbled across the LA Girl Cosmetics Nudes palette, which is a $7 dupe to the more expensive Urban Decay Naked 3 palette, at $54. I snatched that baby up faster than you can blink.
The LA Girl Nudes palette is described as a must-have eyeshadow palette filled with a dozen majorly pigmented shades giving you the best of all colors, to allow you to create stunning looks! The colors are pigmented, blendable and creamy. With 12 different shades ranging from shimmers to mattes you have the option of creating natural, fresh looks to the more smokey looks.
Although the palette does have more shimmer shades than mattes, the color options are perfect for everyday use. The shimmer are not overly shimmery on the eye. They provide enough dimension when used dry, and when used with a wet eyeshadow brush, they really make your eyes pop. There is a slight powder kickback in the palette when using your brush, but it is actually less kickback then the Urban Decay palette! There is minimal fallout and blending with these shadows is a breeze.
If you have the chance, pick up the LA Girl Nudes palette and give it a try. You will not be disappointed!
