Cult favorite lip palette

Anastasia Beverly Hills

Lip palette Volume I

Sweet, sweet, precious lip products. How can we fit you into quality packaging and provide a plethora of options for multiple lip looks, all for a somewhat obtainable price? Queue Anastasia Beverly Hills with the answer.

Anastasia Beverly Hills is known for professional quality, highly functional makeup products. Naturally, when Holli and I both stumbled across this lip palette, loaded with endless color options, at our respective Marshalls store, we both grabbed them up faster than a kid opening their gifts on Christmas morning! This highly coveted lip palette normally retails for $48 (Ulta, Sephora) but Marshalls was offering these palettes for $19.99, STEAL! Although Holli and I both grabbed this lip palette for different reasons (I grabbed this lip palette for my professional makeup kit to offer clients more personalized lip colors, while Holli grabbed it for personal customization of her own lip colors,) the outcome is the same, easily blendable colors that last all day long.

Let's sum this palette up in one quick blip, directly from the Anastasia website itself:

"This 18-well professional Lip Palette contains a collection of lip shades ranging from primaries and neutrals to bold brights. Shades feature rich, intense pigment with a long-wearing, matte finish. Wear alone or mixed together for an endless array of looks.
From novice to pro, this comprehensive collection of colors provides endless lip options. From a soft, daytime neutral to a bold, dramatic pop, this is your ultimate customizable lip palette. Includes mixing plate and dual-ended lip brush with spatula end."

This palette really is everything it says it is. Long wearing, high quality lip colors that leave an intense, matte pigment.

As a makeup artist, this palette is an absolute dream to work with. You have an endless array of color options that are going to LAST on your clients. Have someone in your chair that needs a cool toned red with a hint of orange, blend it up! Have someone who really wants an art-pop style , bright orange lip color, blend it up! The included mixing tray, and spatula/lip brush, are convenience (and sanitary) at its finest.

*Quick tip*
When mixing your colors, no matter how careful you are to just pull out exactly what you need to create a custom color, there is going to be leftover color for at least one other application. Instead of mixing the color on a mixing tray and disposing of the remaining color, mix your lip color in a CLEAN, reusable container. Apply the color with a lip brush, or disposable lip wand, reseal your container and pop it on the side for any touch ups throughout your day. Do not hold on to your mixed color for too long though, crème products are not always the easiest to keep fresh and germ free...use the "leftovers" for a day, then get rid of them. I know, it sounds gross, but you never know what germs are lurking no matter how careful you are!

(Pssst Don't tell my amazing friend who is getting married soon, whom I have the absolute pleasure of not only being her bridesmaid, but her makeup artist...this palette will be what is used to create a custom color for her big day! If this palette is good enough for her wedding day, you know that it is SO worth the money!)

You can find this palette for purchase at Ulta and Sephora, as well as the Anastasia Beverly Hills website.
