It should come as no surprise that this is another skincare post. I have been on the hunt for my perfect skincare products for quite some time now. My dry, acneic, early signs of aging skin have been betraying me for the last year and I am SO tired of having to use more concealer than foundation most days! And the makeup settling into fine lines - UGH #firstworldproblems. Naturally, my first line of defense to combat these skin issues is a good face wash. As luck would have it, my answer was an impulse purchase at Ulta.

After a long day of wearing makeup, the last thing someone wants to think about it struggling to remove their makeup late at night. Having a makeup remover that works quickly and removes all traces of makeup, even waterproof, would be an awesome addition to someone’s night time skincare routine (a girl can dream, can’t she?!) So, when I saw the new Almay Makeup Remover and Cream Cleanser, it looked like it could do double duty as both a makeup remover and cleanser. I picked it up at Ulta for $5.99, the price point made it worth giving the product a try.

Ok, truth bomb - I am a sucker for a good skincare product. Ok, I am a sucker for anything beauty related. Lately, I have really been into using and finding a really good face mask to help target specific, immediate, skin concerns. The Tony Moly sheet mask line was something that I had wondered about, but never tried before. So, I bit the proverbial bullet and picked up a bunch.

Morphe brush haul!

Hi, my name is Gaby and I have a severe brush obsession. If I could buy every makeup brush from every brand, I would. So, of course, when I was in Ulta this week, I picked up more brushes because I HAD to have them.  How can you expect me to walk past the Morphe display and not grab more makeup brushes? (Ok, and maybe Santa Claus picked some up for my oldest child too...more on that in a post to come.)

The brushes that I picked up this time around are:

(Side note: Now that the Morphe brushes are at Ulta, not only do Ulta coupons apply to the purchase BUT you also earn rewards points from the purchase. After redeeming a 20% off your entire purchase coupon and all of my rewards points, all of these brushes cost barely $10!)

I, honestly, do like the Morphe makeup brushes. I know that there are some people out there who have issues with an inconsistent brush quality (i.e. shedding, ferrule coming loose), but that is something I have not experienced with the brand. I find the hair of both the synthetic and natural brushes to blend out products well and, also, clean very well. When I have to chance to do my makeup, these brushes are the one’s that I find myself grabbing 95% of the time.

For the price point of Morphe brushes, and being so easily obtainable, I would highly recommend these brushes.
