A tinted lip balm from Cover Girl?

 

 

Yes, you read this title correctly. Cover Girl is carrying tinted lip balm! Is this vitamin infused, pigmented lip balm worth browsing for in your local drugstore?

Grapeseed oil, avocado butter and Vitamins C&E are not something you would typically think of when you think lipstick. But that is what Cover Girl is doing with the OH SUGAR Vitamin Infused tinted lip balm. Not only is this product a conditioning lip treatment, but also a highly pigmented lip product. The lip balm is lightweight, not sticky, and has a pleasant smell and taste. The smell and taste are sweet, exactly as the name suggests, like sugar! Although it is not long wearing, it is a balm after all, it is incredibly easy to apply multiple times without using a mirror (No worry about trying to stay within the lines with this balm. If you get any of the skin around your lips, it wipes right away and leaves no color behind.)  The color is pigmented, but sheer, which will allow the lips to still look colored but not overpowering. This tinted balm is the perfect lip product to use for 'fresh face' type of makeup looks, or even to wear to work.
