BH Cosmetics Nude Rose Sculpt and Glow

Little secret, that is not as secret as I would like to think, I LOVE BH Cosmetics. Yes, it is true, I love the affordability and quality of BH Cosmetics products. So, there is no surprise that a major staple of my daily makeup looks and travel makeup bag, is the BH Cosmetics Nude Rose Sculpt and Glow palette ($11.99 USD).

The Nude Rose Sculpt and Glow palette features 6 different powders inside it’s sturdy little tin. Included are an under-eye brightener, blush, warm contour, cool contour, light highlighter and deeper highlighter. The formulation of the product gives the powders a smoother feel on application, with minimal kickback in the pan,caused by the makeup brush.The colors are blendable and buildable. The under-eye brightener does not give the under-eye area a cakey, powdery, look. The highlighters do not give a powdery or glittery finish on the skin. The contour colors work well and have the ability to double as a bronzer in a pinch.

There is the catch with this palette (isn’t there always a catch?!) The Nude Rose sculpting palette works great on those with lighter coloring and it also works well on some medium skin tones. There are questions about whether or not this palette would work as well on those with deeper coloring. At the current time, on the BH Cosmetics website, customers have mentioned this as well in several reviews and there are also questions posed about whether or not the colors would work well on darker tones.

For the price point of this product, and the fact that it is more often than not on sale, I would recommend this product to use as a multi-purpose face palette. The versatility of the powders included make this palette great for traveling and for those of us looking to get more of the proverbial bang for our buck.
