Do you have the time, to listen to me whine? About nothing and everything all at once. I am one of those melodramatic fools, neurotic to the bone. No doubt about it. 

Oh sweet, sweet teenage angst. How my memories of you and my love of Green Day still remain. 

Kat Von D has done it again. This time, she collaborated with Billie Joe Armstrong, front man of Green Day (if you don't know who Green Day is, stop reading this post and go to Google, look it up, then come back here. You are very welcome) to create the Anti-Precision Eyeliner.

This eyeliner is anything but ordinary. With the angsty deep black color and anti-establishment smudgey-ness (yes, that is a word now) Basketcase is a winner. The formula is creamy, it applies like a dream. The chubby pencil is not only creamy, but it is blendable, buildable and amazingly smudge friendly. The dry time on this liner is long enough to be able to play with once applied to the eyes. But once set, this liner does not budge. If there is an eyeliner that is able to sum up rock-n-roll in one word, it would be Basketcase. 

You may be asking yourself right now if my opinion on this eyeliner is being jaded by my nostalgia for Green Day. I can not blame you for wondering that. Regardless of the fact that Dookie was the first album I had ever owned and Basketcase was the first punk song my ears were blessed to have heard, this eyeliner performs. Everything that you expect a Kat Von D product to be, it is. Yes, there are plenty of other black eyeliners out there that smudge, bleed and do all those things that you want smoky liner to do. But there is something about this eyeliner in particular that is completely different from the rest. The formula, the ability to apply this as a thick, imprecise line or a more controlled, fine line, the wear time, or the deep black color - this liner stands out in the crowd.
